Briana Harley Singer/Songwriter & Composer


Briana Harley has composed a wide range of contrasting pieces, from modern tonality to motivic driven pieces for chamber ensembles and solo instruments. She has composed for films accredited on IMDb and written songs for books series published by Penguin Publishing and Random House, ranging from folk to rock. Briana is currently the resident songwriter and staff writer for GERM Magazine. She has a Bachelors of Music in Composition and is currently working towards her Masters of Music. She has performed at many venues throughout LA and Orange County including The Brea Art Gallery, Forty Vines, The Orange County Fair, The House of Blues and The Whiskey-A-Go-Go. Briana has volunteered and provided music for the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, Long Beach Women’s Shelter, Omega 3 Awareness Day, Relay For Life, and The Rock n Roll Camp for Girls Orange County.



Briana Harley has written a song for the new Young Adult fiction novel “All The Bright Places” by Jennifer Niven published by Random House. Listen to “You Make Me Lovely” below.

Briana Harley released her first solo album in the Fall of 2016: Better Late Than Never is a compilation of songs written over the last ten years with a “RocknRoll/Grunge/Folk” sound; documenting Briana’s songwriting as a “prologue” to her upcoming work.
